  abstract = {A thirty seven year old female patient developed severe postprandial pain, chronic diarrhea and clinical and biochemical malabsorption syndrome twelve months after gastric by-pass surgery. Vascular and infectious diseases were ruled out during clinical workup and the diagnosis of celiac disease was reached using antibody testing and endoscopic biopsies. Clinical manifestations disappeared within two weeks of strict gluten-free diet.},
