abstract = {Destructive behavior cases in learning can be found at the best schools and even in the classes with the most talented teachers. The purpose of this research is to investigate students’ destructive behavior in learning process at Islamic Senior High Schools in Pekanbaru and the prospect of Child-Friendly School (CFS) by handling these cases. This research was a quantitative-descriptive research. Data sources came from 124 eleventh grade students and 5 teachers selected through random sampling. The techniques of data collection were carried out through questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis was in two types; statistics percentage and descriptive-narrative. The research results found that the most frequent form of students’ destructive behavior is talking to friends while the teacher is explaining  the lesson. According to most of the students (71,77%), the teacher  teaches well and in a friendly way, only one student stated that the teacher uses punishment. Teachers and students agree to develop a model of CFS for their school.},
