  abstract = {The research developed critical success factors for e-Government in Botswana.  The main research question was “What are the critical success factors for e-Government in Botswana?” To test relevancy of identified factors from the literature, questionnaire and interviews were mixed to collect primary data.  The data collection focused on the e-Government Office and ministries who are key stakeholders in the e-Government service delivery framework. The selected participants included focus group of senior IT officers from all Government ministries. Seven critical success factors were derived as the critical success factors for e-Government in Botswana. Likert scales were used to rank factors identified from the literature review. The success factors are demand side engaging executive management to set a clear vision, prioritizes functional capability and manages stakeholder engagement.},
