abstract = {The goal of the study was twofold: (i) To verify the effect of 3 variables – self-evaluation of performance, evaluation of direct superiors and evaluation of organization – on acceptance of smart work monitoring systems, and (ii) To distinguish predictors that increase readiness to have such monitoring systems installed, in exchange for a small monthly salary bonus for the monitored employees. A questionnaire study was conducted in Poland, on a group of 130 respondents, of which 55 were immigrants from post-Soviet Union countries. Low levels of each of these three variables were found to significantly decrease acceptance of smart work monitoring systems. A logistic multivariate regression analysis showed that – of the five potential predictors studied – only desire for promotion within the organization (a measure of attitude towards the organization) and evaluation of direct supervisor were significant.},
