  abstract = {There are many studies dealing with the task of calculating enterprise performance using various methods, especially mathematic-statistical ones. Those studies are based on the assumption that there is a strong correlation between the performance of the enterprise and quantitative variables and on the basis of those trying to define performance as a function of those variables. While they are seeking the variables that can be applied in determining the power band, in which an enterprise, in terms of the aimed values/ achievements is included. In this paper, we focus on quantifying an enterprise performance and the impact of the selected fundamental factors on an enterprise performance. The paper is aimed to identify the key indicators of an enterprise performance with the application of selected mathematical – statistical methods, and also to note the possibility of applying these mathematical - statistical methods in search of enterprise performance determinants. The important contribution of the Paper is to identify the determinants of performance where strong correlation relationships with enterprise performance have been confirmed. These determinants can be considered as the key indicators of enterprise performance. At the same time, applying the principal component method, variables were reduced to two main components, by which the performance of the analyzed enterprises with 71.5% variability can be described. Using this method it is possible to classify enterprises according to the performance bands and identify their weaknesses in their performance.},
