  abstract = {An important trend in management today is the attempt to demonstrate that training as an educational activity aimed at increasing specific competences of the staff is a serious investment, the return of which is measurable. Unfortunately, the assessment of the effectiveness of the training process causes many difficulties for organizations, as it should be reflected in the effectiveness of the entire organization. The necessity to include many factors, unrelated to the examined process, the labor-consumption of this process, the lack of effective methods and tools, and questionable results of the undertaken activities add to the complexity of the assessment. As a result, the management of many companies still have little will to measure the effectiveness of training. In this context, a valuable solution is to attempt to test new tools included in an integrated and possibly automated system for measuring the effectiveness of training. The aim of this work is to present such a solution. Design/Methodology/Approach: The paper presents the original model of training management and evaluation of the effectiveness of training programs, which has been tested in organizational conditions. Findings: This paper analyzes the usefulness of information in the most popular models for measuring the effectiveness of training. It also presents the concept of the proprietary model, which has been successfully tested in one of the public administration units. The concept received a positive scientific review. Practical Implications: The method of measuring the effectiveness of training presented in the paper may support HR managers in training management.},
