abstract = {With the evolution of the capabilities of large web applications as well as the IoT, the possibility of transmitting data read by sensors in real time in the application appeared. For FM applications, especially those that deal with Rooms Reservation, there is a need to determine the number of people in a room. To meet this need, certain requirements have been established, such as those of a Proof of Concept (POC) project which involves monitoring the presence in two meeting rooms of a customer. From the Requirements Document of the POC derives the requirement that is achieved through this work, namely to establish the best people count solution for a meeting room. Three sensor solutions for determining people count are studied in detail and discussed. The results of this paper are useful in rooms reservation, thus being possible to optimize the space management.},
