abstract = {In the last few years, there has been tremendous progress in the application of Intelligent Logistics Systems (ISL) in manufacturing companies around the world. This is the effect of their growing importance resulting directly from the benefits that entities obtain from them. These include: greater production flexibility and easier adaptation to customer requirements, faster deliveries, or increased efficiency and effectiveness of decision-making processes. Hence, it becomes justified to say that these systems are becoming more and more "popular" among enterprises, replacing human work in many areas. This article assesses the use of ISL on the example of the most frequently used systems among Polish enterprises, i.e., the Internet of Things, Big Data and cloud computing. The analysis was based on the author’s own research conducted in 2020 on a sample of 103 manufacturing entities and using logistics in their operations. Therefore, the aim of this article was to identify the universality of the ISL phenomenon and to assess its significance in this group of enterprises. The research was conducted using the direct interview method (CAWI), with the use of a questionnaire. The achieved results clearly indicate that these systems are used by Polish enterprises in a limited way - they relate to various logistic stages and entities of various sizes. Their assessment (in the light of these studies) is positive, which confirms the legitimacy of their implementation and greater interest in the opportunities they create for the development of production companies in Poland. Among these three systems, the most "popular" solutions are Big Data and Internet of Things related to the creation of databases and their use in production and logistics processes.},
