  abstract = {Today occupational stress is a global phenomenon that affects all types of employees, all kinds of jobs from all fields of activity and all countries. The primary concern is to investigate this phenomenon, to discover the causes and to prevent and remove to lessen the effects. The effects of stress are the decrease in the performance of the individual and the organization through absenteeism, decreases in productivity and profits. The alarming costs paid by employers, the costs of the individual and society determined to study the phenomenon, finding best practices to combat stress. The stress factor as a phenomenon and adhere to the multidisciplinary institutions world-wide (World Health Organization (WHO), International Labor Organization (ILO), International Organization of Human Rights (IOHR), specialists in various fields to the level of the individual confronting/is affected with its effects. In order to prevent stress at work and combat it, there are particularly effective measures that address its causes from those dealing with its effects. Otherwise, stress management approach "Triple A" of stress prevention in industry implies a path with three stages: Awareness, Analysis and Action. This paper refers to the first two phases, a pilot study to analyze the perceptions of execution staff (ES) of the Romanian mining sector over the occupational stress.},
