abstract = {In Egypt the modern as well as the traditional coffee shops are very common and popular. The traditional “ahwa” existed for centuries and still does. People go there to socialize, smoke Hookah, and play table games. Now modern coffee shops are becoming quite popular and very competitive. To ensure survival in such competition, the introduction of business intelligence systems and the use of database and data mining techniques are preordained. The objective of this research paper is to present methods, that support the decision making process by using data mining techniques with MS Excel tools (and its add-ons). Based on the Rateb study (2013), the ADI modeling approach is used focusing only on the modern coffee shops in this highly competitive industry.  },
