The ongoing processes of globalisation are leading to transformations at many levels – national, regional and global. The answer to the challenges of the modern world is the interdisciplinary nature of sciences, visible in this article. By means of this criterion, the threats resulting from globalization movements affecting the area of economic security are presented in this article.
