Abstract

The objective of this research was to analyze the ecological behavior of business students in the context of a COVID-19 pandemic. The study was developed under a quantitative approach, descriptive in scope, non-experimental cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 400 business students from a private university in North Lima. The instrument used was the Ecological Behavior Scale (ECE), which was adapted to the Peruvian reality; This questionnaire had a Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.817. Likewise, said instrument had three categories: 1) water use, 2) energy use, and 3) household waste disposal. For the analysis and data processing, Microsoft Excel and SPSS tools were used. The study concluded that there is a positive / moderate ecological behavior in business students. Therefore, it is recommended that university institutions contemplate the insertion of this subject within their curricular structure.
