Abstract
Russian-Brazilian trade relations have been intensifying for last decades; however, cooperation between two countries faces certain challenges. One of the potential solutions for eliminating trade barriers is to sign a free trade agreement. Both Russia and Brazil are leading members of customs unions: the EAEU and the MERCOSUR respectively. The paper assesses possible outcomes of the EAEU-MERCOSUR FTA based on the quantitative analysis and indicates its opportunities and prospects.
