Abstract

There are phenomena on the real estate market that are difficult to analyse individually. In order to comprehensively analyse and monitor phenomena in this market, extensive databases are required (Mrsic, Jerkovic, & Balkovic, 2020). In Poland, banks have a database that they use for the purposes of mortgage loans. This database allows for the analysis of the real estate market, the estimation of property values by real estate appraisers and the value of collateral on real estate. The system in question is the Real Estate Market Analysis and Monitoring System (AMRON). The purpose of this article is to evaluate the real estate data resources made available by the AMRON Centre in terms of their usefulness for a proper analysis of real estate prices and values in Poland.
