Abstract

The medical industry is developing at a very high level. The emerging clusters have the necessary knowledge and experience that allow them to create new ideas related to their chosen specialization. The paper identifies medical clusters in the world, with a particular analysis of clusters operating in Poland. Due to variability of clusters activity, qualitative research was used. The most effective networks are related to the biomedical industry, medical tourism and telemedicine, which is very important nowadays. The aim of the paper was to assess the maturity of the MedSilesia Cluster. This cluster is one of the oldest medical centres operating in Poland.
