Abstract

The article proposes a method for calculating the integral index of industrial and trade policy harmonization to quantify the degree of balance between industrial and trade policies necessary for diagnosing the industry situation and making informed management decisions aimed at eliminating the imbalance between supply and demand of products. The authors used mathematical and statistical tools to quantify the degree of balance between industrial and trade policies. The use of the integral index allowed the authors to give a quantitative characteristic of the degree of harmonization based on the use of the multiple linear regression model. The authors ‘ recommendations can be used to assess the degree of balance between industrial and trade policies at all levels of management and are necessary for making informed managerial decisions. The article expands the scientific understanding of the possibilities and methods of quantifying the degree of balance of industrial and trade policies in industries.
