Life Cycle of Professional Competence Formation: Students’ Opinion on University-Employer Engagement

Abstract

The paper presents the results of an empirical study of students’ opinion on university-employer engagement and its impact on their future employment. The proposed life cycle stages of professional competencies formation allow universities to consistently work out all forms of such interaction, which will help students master the applied knowledge and skills necessary for subsequent employment and successful professional activity.
