Abstract
The aim of the study is to study the relationships connecting Goal 7 of the 2030 Agenda, the area describing the environmental production efficiency included in the OECD indicators for green growth and the results in terms of the measure describing economic growth of EU countries – GDP per capita. The TOPSIS method and correspondence analysis were used to study the relationship between these indicators. The obtained results showed that the relations between these areas are not as expected. Only few countries managed to achieve high results in each of the analyzed areas. Moreover, relatively good results for Goal 7 tend to correspond to worse results for green growth and vice versa. The added value of the work is a method of research focused on the relationships between these areas.
