Abstract
The development of electromobility enables transport without direct emissions, independent of fossil fuels. The use of electromobility has its justification for reducing greenhouse gases and in the long run is more environmentally friendly. With its development, it is necessary to place emphasis on safety itself in the development of this type of mobility. In the paper, we focused on the analysis of some strategic documents addressing electromobility at the level of the European Union. An important part of the paper is the reference to selected indicators of the development of electromobility in the Member States of the European Union. Using the correlation coefficient, they examined the dependence between People per recharging points and Gross domestic product per capita in Purchasing Power Standards.
