Abstract
The issue of effective implementation of information technologies and substantiation of directions of development of tourist industry in the regions of Ukraine is revealed. A method of supporting the functioning of the tourism management system of tourist areas based on the use of the provisions of recreational-geographical, program-target, marketing-analytical and object-program approaches has been developed. The program of tourism development at the regional level is formulated, which will include four main sections: general provisions, main part, social development of tourism and automated information database on tourism development. The conceptual apparatus has been clarified and the specifics of the location of the tourist complex in the information space have been determined. The main manifestations of the influence of the factor of location of tourist resources and enterprises that provide access to them in the information space are analyzed. It is substantiated that the effect of spatial location increases with the effect of placement of tourist resources in the information space.
