Abstract

This paper presents the impact of choosing a development methodology in creating a business model and how that choice can influence the business’ success. The different approaches to business models are analysed, as well as their benefits and problems. Moreover, since this is a high-level plan to operate a business in a specific market profitably and its main component is the value proposition, the different project development methodologies that directly impact the customer’s value are also explained.
