A RESTful API Architecture Approach for Managing Spatial Data In E-Business Systems

In the context of today’s information society, it’s important to find different use-cases and prerequisites that could help in creating strong and reliable e-business solutions. One of these prerequisites is reflected through the development of platforms handling spatial data that can enhance e-commerce and contribute substantially in the field of e-business solutions. This paper proposes to describe an API-based architecture for managing geographic data, as a customizable solution for further enhancements of what geolocation could represent in the development of an e-business context/solution.
