Abstract

The paper is focused on family tourism, especially on baby-friendly accommodation and catering facilities, as well as baby-friendly attractiveness in Litomyšl Micro-region. This area has a good potential for tourism development. Family tourism is an essential part of the tourism market and families with children are an exciting target group. They travel a lot for various reasons, e.g., for relaxation, sight-seeing, hiking, sports, fun parks, or IQ parks, etc. Their motivation for traveling is different. We have to realize that kids are future guests for numerous tourism facilities and attractions. A happy child means happy parents and an intention to visit a destination once again. Orientation on families with children is an investment into future business development.
