Abstract

Background: Contemporary determinants of shaping leaders include the following factors: artificial intelligence and technology, pace of Change, purpose and meaning, new talent landscape, Morality, Ethics, Transparency and globalization.

According to one of the concepts, shaping leaders should focus on six core dimensions. Business games are the way to shape leaders.

The aim of the article is to describe the business game as method for shaping contemporary leaders. Methods: critical analysis of literature, experimental and survey methods, were used.Results: The article describes business game as an area of ​​shaping leaders. The article includes literature reviews too. Then, the author’s business game was exemplified. An evaluation of the business game was also presented.Conclusion: The empirical research on the effectiveness of business games is fragmented. The literature  includes  research  on  different  tasks,  age  groups,  and types  of games.  The  research literature  is also  filled with ill  defined  terms, and plagued  with  methodological  flaws.The comparison of the obtained results with the review of the literature achievements shows that the research provides significant information on the effectiveness of the game.
