Level And Efficiency of Use of Production Resources of High-Tech Industry in The European Union Countries

The article addresses the issue of diversification of the level and efficiency of the use of production resources of technologically advanced industry in countries belonging to the European Union. To determine the production resources, data on the number of manufacturing enterprises and employees in the high-tech industry were used. The effectiveness of their use was also measured by calculating productivity indicators. The results of the conducted research indicate that the largest production resources and production volumes of technologically advanced industry were characterized by Germany and France. Factor efficiency, as measured by productivity, was highest in Belgium, France and the Netherlands.
