Abstract

The term “social security threat” appears rather rarely in publications on security. The terms that readers can normally find include cultural, civilisation and psychosocial threats. The phenomenon of social threats concerns all situations  where there is a risk of loss of life and health, national and ethnic identity of a community and its public and social security. Analysing characteristics of society, i.e. common territory, similarity of living conditions, cultural individuality, manner of communicating, interactions between its members, and norms and models of behaviour, one should say that social security threat is frequent and requires thorough analyses.
