The aim of the presented study is to assess the condition of the transport infrastructure in the studied city and to find out the opinions of the inhabitants of Koszalin and the surrounding area on the transport accessibility of Koszalin. The study was conducted using a questionnaire that was distributed in the spring of 2021 to 108 respondents. The questionnaire included questions about: characteristics of the respondents; means of transport; use of public transport, use of private transport, and major transport difficulties. The assessment of the road infrastructure in Koszalin shows that the number and length of roads are sufficient, as well as the correct road network, however, due to their frequent modernization, there are difficulties in moving around. Moreover, research shows that the main motivations for traveling are commuting to and from work and educational purposes. According to the respondents, the level of public transport is at an average level. Due to the insufficient number of lines, frequency and number of connections, the respondents are forced to use their own means of transport, which adversely affects not only the quality of the environment, but also the comfort of getting around in the city. Based on the research, the main problems in terms of transport accessibility of the selected city were identified. The research relates to the current transport accessibility problems of the selected city. The results can contribute to the city’s development strategy in terms of improving transport accessibility.
