Abstract

Transport companies often obtain differentiated and incomplete information, that obstruct the organization of cargo transport process. This issue is becoming increasingly current during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The article presents the methodology for structuring information resources, used to make the right decisions when organizing transportation of sensitive cargoes. The application of classification procedures, clustering, as well as analysis and synthesis of ordered information resources for the sensitive cargo carriage as an integral approach have been proposed, which allow for ordering the information used by transport companies. Verification of offered methodology was presented on selected transport route example. Implementing the presented approach make it possible to group the information resources that may be beneficial for the decision making process, i.a. when selecting the route for sensitive cargo transportation during COVID-19 crisis.
