Research methods adopted in the article include: critical analysis of source literature and an analysis of secondary data. The aim of the article is to discuss the phenomenon of stress in the workplace during the pandemic, to indicate the methods of dealing with stress in an organisation during the pandemic and to identify the symptoms of work-related stress.
The following research question was formed in the paper: do employees experience additional stress in the workplace during the COVID-19 pandemic and do they have an opportunity to cope with stressful situations caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in their organisation?
The analysis and assessment carried out in the article indicated that the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences causes social trauma and extreme stress related to a work situation which is not handled well by many employees.
