Abstract
The paper contains an empirical demonstration of the beneficial effect, obtained by combining physical activity – which includes a program for the whole body – together with going out in nature, applied to sedentary people, who work in the office. The study presented in this paper was conducted during and after lockdown, by monitoring the effect of physical activity – at home, in the gym or in nature – on the following systems: cardio-respiratory system, musculoskeletal and neuro-muscular system, metabolic system and immune system. By using the questionnaire method, it was possible to demonstrate that the physical activities performed had a great impact on improving the mental state of the participants for the better.
