The article discusses topical issues of ensuring freedom of religion and the prevention of religious discrimination in the US education system. The article examines the position of the presidential administrations and the practice of the US Supreme Court on conducting school prayers, as well as ensuring academic freedom given the struggle between the theories of Creationism and Darwinism in the American education system.
