5. Submission & Publication Overview
IBIMA Publishing publishes peer-reviewed academic content. Manuscripts are typically submitted through affiliated conference platforms, and selected papers may be recommended for consideration in IBIMA Publishing journals.
Authors are required to revise and resubmit manuscripts in accordance with peer review feedback and editorial guidelines. IBIMA Publishing reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to suspend or discontinue the acceptance of new manuscript submissions, either temporarily or permanently.
6. Fees & Payments
Article Publication Charges (APCs) are only applicable after acceptance and are required only if authors choose to proceed with publication. All payments are final and non-refundable. No payment is required prior to acceptance. Payments may be made via wire transfer or secure third-party payment systems.
7. Intellectual Property
Authors retain copyright in their work. Authors grant IBIMA Publishing a non-exclusive publishing license to: Publish and distribute the work, index at major databases and archive content, include content in compilations or collections. All Website content, design, and branding remain the property of IBIMA Publishing or its licensors.
8. Misconduct & Enforcement
IBIMA Publishing applies a zero-tolerance approach to plagiarism and related forms of academic misconduct. The following sanctions may be imposed: First violation: suspension from submitting manuscripts for a period of 12 months, second violation: suspension for a period of 3 years, and third violation: permanent ban from future submissions
IBIMA Publishing reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine the severity of any violation and to apply appropriate sanctions.
IBIMA Publishing further reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice or obligation to provide justification, to: Reject any submission, remove or retract published content, suspend or permanently ban individuals from future submissions or participation in its publishing activities
9. Retraction, Corrections & Removal
IBIMA Publishing reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to: Retract published articles
Issue corrections or expressions of concern, remove content for legal, ethical, or editorial reasons, including but not limited to cases of ethical violations, legal claims, or regulatory requirements, replace content with retraction notices. These actions may be taken without author consent when necessary.
10. Reviewer Confidentiality
Reviewers engaged by IBIMA Publishing are required to maintain strict confidentiality with respect to all submitted manuscripts and related materials.
Reviewers must not:
• Share, disclose, or distribute any unpublished content or information obtained through the review process
• Use any unpublished material for personal, professional, or financial benefit
• Retain copies of manuscripts or associated data beyond what is necessary for the review process
These confidentiality obligations apply during and after the completion of the review process.
IBIMA Publishing reserves the right to take appropriate action, at its sole discretion, in the event of a breach of reviewer confidentiality, including removal from reviewer roles and restriction from future participation.
IBIMA Publishing may, as part of its editorial practices, publicly acknowledge reviewers by name, provided that such acknowledgment does not disclose any confidential information regarding specific manuscripts.
11. Third-Party Services
IBIMA Publishing may use third-party services, including but not limited to: DOI registration agencies (e.g., CrossRef), Plagiarism detection tools (e.g., iThenticate), and Indexing and abstracting databases. IBIMA Publishing is not responsible for the practices or policies of third-party services.
12. Website Use Restrictions
Users may not: Use automated systems (bots, crawlers, scrapers) to extract data, engage in bulk downloading of content, interfere with Website security or functionality, misuse content in a misleading or deceptive manner. Normal human browsing and downloading of articles is permitted.
