Abstract

The continuous development of technology and the progress of Industry 4.0 have expanded the boundaries of production but also those of human relationships in a way that is distinct from everything we have experienced so far. In this sense, the paper aims to present the ontology of an IT system for selecting the most suitable candidates for specific positions in Industry 4.0, explaining the steps of conceptualizing the system. The paper starts with a section about ontology, conceptualization and brief immersion in its issues. In the following, a literature review highlights models based on ontologies, dedicated to such recruitment processes. In the third part of the paper, is presented a practical application based on testing procedures that frame as well as possible the candidates for specific jobs. The work ends with the presentation of the legal framework for the implementation of the proposed model.
