Abstract
Malaysian Construction industry is facing such as a huge challenge starting from the new technologies that is placed as a trend for construction industry arising, productivity output and efficiency which focusing on the quality and value of any construction projects. Construction projects plays as an economic concern for the nationwide and construction work with its effort required such an implementation and installation for its handling of materials during that installation. This review paper contains a review for the current mitigation measures that are implemented for reducing from the construction waste among Malaysian practice in the side of automation technology such as the concept of 3R approach, IBS, BIM, GBI and Internet of Things (IoT) involvement that act as tracking for the materials during the placement which play as a remote operation for managing both human and materials resources. This paper presents a review of existing literature on construction waste and its mitigations measures in the Malaysian practices that have been implemented in the construction industry that substantially contributes to existing knowledge using solid foundation for further research in the application of IoT that connect to Automation technologies in construction in the aspect of materials management and the pattern of this review is to shows the important of technologies adoptions as existing strategies in construction industry in terms of reduce from the materials waste and the method of the placing information is focused on the current practice of construction waste practices during construction stage toward sustainable project in the Malaysian construction industry.
