Abstract

This article aims to present the concept of a system for generating and renewing symmetric cryptographic keys for sensor network nodes. We have analyzed different variants of key distribution and ways to protect these keys during distribution. The paper presents two solutions for distributing keys shared by a pair of nodes and shared by all nodes in the network. We experimentally tested the solution using a demonstrator consisting of a few nodes consisting of a Raspberry Pi board, LoRa module and Trusted Platform Module v. 2.0. The paper also contains selected experimental results.
