Abstract
The article describes the design process for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAS for short). The scope of work included the development of an aircraft design aimed at observation flights. The assumption is that the aircraft conducts reconnaissance in hostile territory so it must climb to a high altitude to minimise the risk of being spotted, intercepted or destroyed by enemy troops. During the implementation of the project, issues of choosing the right aircraft shape, dimensions, payload capacity and the possibility of fitting the necessary apparatus to make observations were addressed. The article presents the design concepts and feasibility of making such a type of unmanned aircraft.
