Currently, significant development of network technologies related to the design and management of network infrastructure can be observed in the world. One of the most important developed aspects is enabling a smooth response to changes in the network simultaneously with minimizing the associated control traffic.…

The aim of this study is to determine the resistance of the MANET (Mobile Ad ’hoc Network), to structural defects caused by network nodes failures that reduce the performance of the network. The metrics used in networks monitoring are proposed and implemented in the MANET…

Internet of Things systems are currently widely implemented in practical solutions. The solutions are used for the efficient collection and processing of in-formation, and then enable optimal decisions to be made. In order to ensure the appropriate quality of solutions in terms of the security…

The present study mentions how Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder affects a percentage of people worldwide every year, in the social and educational environment. People, where children are the most affected, manifest behaviors such as hyperactivity, impulsivity and inattention. Therefore, this research not only aims to…

Modern computer games aim at providing rich, vivid worlds. The aim is to encourage the player to explore and interact with the in-game world. To describe the complex relations between in-game NPCs and their surrounding fuzzy logic is used. The paper presents ANFIS based population…

In today's military communication systems, an important factor is to ensure the highest possible connectivity of nodes in the network. The response of the communication network to the dynamic changes in its structure, resulting from changes in the location of network nodes or their destruction,…

The following article describes the voltage standing wave ratio VSWR parameter. The parameter is very important for resilient, efficient communication. It explains a physical meaning of VSWR. There is a presentation of mismatch effects and the way of calculating of VSWR. There are also presented…

The article presents the current threats related to Unmaned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and highlights the weakness of radio jamming technologies. Attention was paid to the possibility of designing or redesigning consumer market drones to other, insensitive to jammers, frequencies. The balance of the link between…

Systems for indoor location of objects, as the GPS signal is not available inside buildings, utilise, among others, devices with Bluetooth and WiFi interface. To determine the location of objects (devices), measurements using the value of the signal power (WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.) between them are…

In the context of today’s information society, it’s important to find different use-cases and prerequisites that could help in creating strong and reliable e-business solutions. One of these prerequisites is reflected through the development of platforms handling spatial data that can enhance e-commerce and contribute…
